  2. Really good pictures. Thanks for adding the names for us. I would not have recognized some (actually most) of the people since I have not been to Baldwyn in years.

  9. If you are referring to the Blog header photo in the poolroom, on the left is Henry Outlaw, and the other is John Olan Cunningham. On the outside is Charles Fray Cooper. The guy sitting in the window and others are unidentified.

  11. Carl,

Referring to the picture in the poolroom, I knew we were sorry but I didn't realize we looked so sorry.

  12. Henry, we didn't ever consider ourselves sorry I don't think. We thought we were "cool" however. We may look like the photo shows Monday through Saturday, but we cleaned up pretty good for church on Sunday!

The poolroom was a really popular place to meet anytime. Remember it was a place to stop and warm up on a cold chilly wintry day while walking to school.

  13. Carl,

Yes, We would walk to school and on cold winter days we would stop in the pool room to warm up. There was always a roaring fire.

I think hanging out at Palmer's pool room was the best Social Science Course I ever took!
