Naturally Joe Murray Davis with cigar on the far left and Herb's cousin Lanny Outlaw kneeling second from right. Milton
ReplyDeleteJoe Agnew on Lanny's left.
ReplyDeleteWe have: Otis Mink, Pete Cole, Mose Garrett, B. E. Ozbirn, Harold Dobbs, Malvin Williams, Randle Miller, Roy Bryant, Guy Herring, and possibly Boyd Haygood?? (top right)
ReplyDeletethink the man in mechanics uniform is mr shaw that had a shop on latimer street. man with light glasses james nanney, man with dark glasses, horace caver. the man third from left top row looks very familar but i cannot put a name with him. is he a waters?
ReplyDeleteWe agree top right is Boyd Haygood with Guy Herring next to him. 4th from top right is definitely Randle Miller.
ReplyDeleteUnofficially, here's what we think:
ReplyDeleteTOP L-R Otis Mink, the next two may not be from Baldwyn, Horace Caver, R. E. Shaw, James Nanney, Randle Miller, James Morgan, Guy Herring, and Boyd Haygood.
FRONT L-R Joe Murray Davis, Curtis Wilemon, John Garrett, B. E. Ozbirn, Pete Cole, Harold Dobbs, Olan Moore, Lanny Outlaw and Joe Agnew. Corrections welcome! Thanks to Clarene and Gina.
The man next to Curtis Wilemon I believe is Mose Garrett instead of John Garrett. The man next to Otis Mink looks a lot like Bill Hogue.
DeleteCorrection to Mose Garrett, thanks Harold. The two men second and third from top left are from the fire truck company. Change James Morgan to Milton Morgan and we're all done! Thanks to the local coffee group - Aaron, Robert M., John Olan and Joe Murray.
ReplyDeleteWas Odis Mink the fire chief then? I thought he was a law officer.
ReplyDeleteHorace Caver was chief then.
